The Emily is one of the most accomplished models from Frida Giannini's era at Gucci. Its structured flap silhouette, gold-tone chain, and especially its front horsebit accompanied by leather tassels reintroduce the house's equestrian vocabulary in a decidedly feminine and elegant version. Guccissima leather — full-grain leather embossed with an all-over micro-relief GG pattern — is one of Gucci's signature materials for small leather goods and bags: it combines the visual richness of the monogram with the durability of full leather. In its large version, the Emily gains versatility: it transitions from office to dinner effortlessly, holds daily essentials, and bears the house's signature with the discretion that characterizes the best bags.
